A month-long World Cup Fever is on! This time, it is held in Germany.
I bet football is definitely one of the most talked-about language of the world beside music. Everyone shares the passion of football, like in its Coca-Cola advertisement:
makan bola, tidur, minum Coca-Cola! Every corner of the world, you will see nothing else except football.
According the research done for the past World Cup, the productivity of its people are slacking during these fever season of football. Everyone will stay up in the middle of the night just to know the exciting game's result; and of course the betting and winning of each match played. I guess, it's high gain (more analysis and intense watching) high return (betting money).
I am not that into football, except started to watch it in 2002 when it was held in Japan-Korea, which share the same time zone as I do. Fun to watch, exciting when the tiny ball was kicked into the goal post, fuzing with the roar of "GOAL!" from the crowd and commentators! The drowning of your own voice is the only highlights of the big game if you are really part of the game!
Everyone, putting aside their differences in nationalities, races, colours, language; all get into the mood the FIFA spirit: shouting the slogan supporting the groups, colour national flags onto face, interesting and body-revealing costumes!
That's the magic that football brings. Unbelievable!
